Need a static set up.
I use approx 500ltrs per day.
Been on the phone to several companies, all trying to sell me their most expensive systems, with booster pumps...ETC.
Firstly never used one or set one up.
Want to get a 1000 Ltr tank.
What system do I need

You need a 1000litre ibc (source locally)
A 450gpd r.o + d.i vessel - http://www.collinswaterproducts.co.uk
Or a 4040 r.o - http://www.gapswater.co.uk
(Booster pump depends on which r.o you choose and tap pressure)

This is it here:
http://www.gapswater.co.uk/acatalog/Titan_reverse_osmosis_systems.html
It's the wall mounted one. Not totally brand new as it's been stored in my garage, but never been used (ther than to test that it works - it does) and in perfect working order.
It has twin booster pumps (24v), so it doesn't matter what your home water pressure is.
It will produce about 1,000 litres of pure water per day, and has an automatic flush function that flushes the membrane for 30 seconds every 30 minutes.
It also has a pressure sensor to if you shut off the output water, it will switch off the pumps and the shut off the input water too.
It's a good piece of kit. I bought it, but then a friend gave me a 4040 setup so I didn't need it anymore.
I paid about £1,000 back in the day. Yours for £999 a sensible offer!

It says I can produce 1000Ltrs per day.
does that mean in 24hr period.
If so could your system be fitted with a pump, as im looking for a quick fill system

My 4040 with an hf5 membrane and 50 psi water pressure - no booster, produces 2 litres a minute in winter.

I got a static system from purefreedom complete with 1000 litre IBC tank, a wee bit more expensive than DIY but was worth it for me. If you decide to go down this route, sign up first and get reward points ;)

Crikey that booster pump is huge!
I wouldn't have room for that beast, mines less then half the size of that.
Does anyone keep that size booster pump in there van if they have a van mount system?
-
Pure freedom sell them with 1000ltr ibc all ready to go for about £950 also look at window cleaning warehouse they sell them as well.

Thats what I was thinking ;D Mines much smaller than that how many litres do you produce a hour with that booster? dont let the water board see you have that set up :o

Big booster pump .... expensive booster pump .......... BUT it don't do that much production wise cos its not suitable as it has a pressure switch that turns it off as soon as it hits 5 bar then a minute later it powers back up so over night in 12 hours it does a 1000 litres which tbh if I removed pressure sensor it would prob do double that ... pressure switch could prob be removed but never bothered as 1000 litres overnight is more than enough for me.
As its now nearly 5 years old its very soon getting replaced with this for £100 which I rekon will do more overnight as it stays on till I unplug it / timer switch. Nowt wrong with it but at 5 years old it wont go on for much longer possibly.

a member on here cleanclear has put me onto this and it will do 80psi which is ideal for the latest 4040 membranes which makes mine worthless second hand so will keep it for a back up
