Title: First job completed, advice on showers
Post by: MJF on February 12, 2015, 02:17:17 pm
Hi,

I did my first job today and have a question, well I have loads actually!

How do you clean showers/shower screens? Once I scrubbed it all I then had to rinse it but very hard when fully dressed? At home I scrub then rinse and finish off before showering myself, obviously not an option at work!

I'm doing 4 bathrooms in this house, didn't feel happy with the result.

Also what's an average timescale to do a bathroom? Took me too long I think, 30 mins each.

Use Evans hi fos.  I think it's called that. It's brilliant.

I've had a look, won't that need the same way of rinsing though? That's the main issue? Should I be using a microfibre cloth?

I quite often get wet when I have to unblock showers - no two controls are the same

I'm only doing general cleaning of the shower though, not unblocking? I think I'll just have to carry on as I am and hope I find a way of doing it.

Mjf

I assume your doing EOT cleans ? Or is it domestic ?

Really you should not need to have to work hard scrubbing ! It's down to the chemical , they the chemical do the work .
Some shower screens are cheap and had limescale on them for too long , you will, never get it off.
Premier products do a good chemical td10

Good luck
