Could anyone tell me why when I connect my wfp hose to garden tap I get a massive leak pouring through the connector meaning less pressure for my ro etc? I've tried using new hoselock ones but no success! Its really frustrating!

Got a picture ?
2 things spring to mind both on the male part - a rubber washer inside the threaded bit to seal against the tap or the o ring on the outside is that there, or cracked/split?

Can't you get rid of them crappy plastic connectors and go for rectus metal fittings gotta be much better and no leaks

Looks like the outer o ring, you can buy new ones or change the male fitting on the tap, or smear a little silicone grease/Vaseline on it and this should stop the leak, just gone dry

I've tried putting new connectors on tap but still got leak! When I disconnect hose from it there is a surge of water that spits back up pipe but I suppose that's normal.

Is this going to an RO unit ??

Mine doesn't leak and it hits 90psi some days.

Mine never used to at 80

Do you think it could be the actual tap?
