He walked into the toilet then back into the bedroom quite old and confused he was.
Walked in with my new electric sprayer that was full of pure clean, wetted out the chunky bits , let it dwell while I set up then Just rinsed it out with fresh water

We get lots of little jobs (!) like this around here - the frame around the toilet bowl is a bit of a fixture on this sort of job - usually they have paddled in it - I always say to the carer or partner can you clean up the big bits before we get there please! Quick easy money - takes longer to set up than do - rather do poo than blood any day!
-
Nice job! Did you use any type of antibacterial solution? Such as Formula 429 + or cleansan?
-
Richard, I charged £140 for this job which is more than I would normally charge for this amount of cleaning so I guess I did charge extra.
The daughter of the couple was ringing me on her phone as she drove down from Scarborough she had'nt seen it and just told me it was in 2 rooms and asked for a guide price I just plucked £150 out of the air, I knocked £10 off as I alway like to leave them thinking they payed less than they thought it would be.
Dutch' just heavily rinsed with freshwater

Looks like the result of two blokes in three-legged pub crawl who had a dodgy curry ;D

Hi Mike,
I do a lot of jobs like that and I have always used a good antibacterial solution prior to any cleaning and sprayed again after.
The reason being that if you use it prior to any cleaning you are not sucking up raw sewage but hopefully something that has been neutralised by the formula 429 +.
I charge about the same as you for that type of cleaning as I factor in the cleaning and sanitisation of anything I have used after the clean.
You could not go into a normal job after doing that type of cleaning without being sure everything was tickty boo bacterial wise.
Maybe thats just me but its they way I sell it to the customer.
-
Yes your right about that, I always pour some bleach down the solution line after doing a job like this and if I was using a portables I would factor in a post-clean after finishing, as I would'nt like to think I was venting out the portable into another customers home after cleaning up any type of body fluid.
Luckily I use a truckmount that does'nt use a waste tank so I don't have to worry about decontaminating that

I had one recently where a lady had c difficile and one of the side effects is diarrohea. Now normally you probably wont get told that this problem is present but on this occasion she was up front about it. We used about 10 L of formula 429 + before we did any cleaning and wore gloves and overshoes just to be safe. Poo can make you more money but be cafeful as you dont know what might be lurking so its best to be safe than sorry.
