Title: Hot water pressure washer
Post by: derek west on February 05, 2015, 08:51:06 pm
some advice please, i need heat and around 1000 to 1500 psi of pressure for indoor hard floor cleaning, i have an sx15 and a truckmount for vacuum, just need the high psi and plenty of heat, my truckmount is okay for warm water at 800 psi but i need that bit more, what sort of machine should i be looking at or what stats for the heat power ratio? thanks

As much as it pains me, just get a hot wash Karcher. 6/12 or 601 will do

Thanks neil been looking at them but unsure as to heat delivery and psi, details on the site are a bit sketchy at the sort of heat you can get at higher pressures. anyway will look into them  bit further, cheers

The pressure does not matter - its the flow that reflects the heat

going to look at a neptune 2 26, see what heat it generates at full flow.

The heat off the Karcher is plenty for hard floors. Any hotter and it would be too much IMO.

Thanks for advice, bought this one. having a female QC fitted to it so i can use my own solution pipes and also getting a tiny psi regulator ftted to my SX15, that ought to do it.
