hi guys, does anyone have an airflex mini with the bigger pump fitted or better still has anyone upgraded from the 130 to the 200psi and if so is it worth going to the expense of the upgrade...thanks
-
I have the Alltech version the Express 130psi twin vac as my back up machine to my Airflex Storm, i find it great for this purpose, small area's and flats etc, why are you looking for bigger pump?
-
hi Richard, it is a great little machine, I also bought it for cleaning eot apartments, I just thought the bigger pump would increase my working speed but to upgrade your talking upwards of £500...cheers
-
this for 200

Should be very straight forward , just same as the pump fitted . The version on ebay has a pressure switch but its the same to wire up .
I really dont know how much better it compares to the one you have fitted without using both though .
cant see many examples of it fitted ... but its used here in Steembrite Donalds contraption

thanks john, certainly worth a look mate...

Higher pressure means more water-
Same vacs means more drying strokes.
How much time saved????

Its no Magna though is it ?

what the steambrite heater ?
remember they have to draw twice the current @ 115v 1800w or so is all they can do on a regular circuit .
But they dosnt stop them from being crazy ...

and steambrites goliath is now a quad 6.6

sounds good , hopefully a noticable power increase , and the first in the UK to do these in three parallel .
U sure you are getting one of the more powerfull ones , did u get a model number . There are a few different versions .
-
Yes john, I was given the choice of four different power outputs, but thought the 1800 w might of been to much for two plus to handle,

You could .. put an 1800 on the pump cord .
but of the 1600w ... ending in # 49 is the one Ashbys use
ending in #47 is the conical verison
and there is a two stage version
-
Well, I will bear that in mind next time s they are ordered now, having a booster box made like yours but with just one motor in it, but might go for the 1800 wat will see
-
Seriously still thinking about purchasing an escape from woodbridge, I've bought a bigger van so it would fit in nicely, not that bothered about the heat issue, I've had Scorpions now for eight years without heat and its never been a problem, I use a drop in cool tail emersion heater, but switch off when I start the machine up

sure better to replace with a slightly more powerfull motor , might pull an amp more but no worries , just combine it with your other vac . Not going to make a dramatic difference but its a simple upgrade .
