Title: Commercial to Domestic Cleaning
Post by: Churchill Contract Cleaners on February 04, 2015, 03:15:51 pm
Acorn Commercial Cleaners Limited (www.acornclean.co.uk) was established to supply contract cleaning to commercial business premises.  We have in the last 6 months introduced industrial cleaning in the form of builders and sparkle cleans which has rocketed the growth of our business.  We are now testing the water with domestic cleaning - it is a fairly new area to us as we have only ever done one off cleans to domestic property.

My question is to any businesses which are predominantly commercial but have branched into the domestic market - do you have any advice to give, any words or warning or problems which you encountered?

Thanks

Yeah don't offer a free monthly window clean to all your new domestic customers.

i had a quick look on your website, i would try and change some of that, for example:

you have "window cleaning" with a generic picture of someone cleaning a computer?
Builders cleans - with a generic picture of a party popper on a dining table?
office cleaning with a generic picture of someones living room

i think you should at least get the photos to match up with your services  ;)
