Just a quick question; I've been looking at the 650L water tanks and purpose made frames from Cleaning Warehouse and wondered whether anyone on here has any experience with this company, especially the tanks and frames.
If so are they any good?
The total price of £534.99 including VAT appealed to me :)
Any advice, or decent alternatives would be welcome.
Many thanks.

I would imagine for that money you could get a custom one made by Stephen Would be far better!

Tell him Damo sent ya ;)
-
That price is for the tank and the frame; I thought that was pretty good; I was quoted over £1,000 by Varitech :o
-
I would imagine he wouldn't be far away from the price you quoted tbh.
Would never ever drive a van with a wydale tank again. I do not miss the constant sloshing and ferry syndrome. Or the wobble on bends at speed haha.
-
I have bought 2 systems off them....tanks and frames are good and always good customer service...speak to Joe he knows what he is talking about.
-
I have the 350 tank, frame and pump panel - 2 years and never had a problem. Will be getting another system from them.
-
I've bought one of their platinum complete wfp van systems which they're fitting it for me next week. I've been using them for a couple of years now they're very competitive too plus its only 10 miles from where I live which is a bonus!

What type of tank you using now then and can you describe its baffling ? I've seen your link, just interested in the tank you have which is better ?
-
Cheers folks; good to know I'll be buying from a decent store.

Ok, cheers. I see it has the honey comb baffling. I'm with you on that, i always recommend that to anyone using a 600 litre IBC as its so easy to insert. And of course, sort of negates the extra wall strenght needed and provided by Wydale.

I am not a 100% sure, but i "think" thats how Grippa do it. I think they add the baffles. However the frame and installation is what sold me. The way the tank bolts to the frame is the clever bit.

OK mate, i always think the clever bit is when it doesn't rip out the floor and hit you on the back of the head whether it retains its integrity or not. But i'm ageeing with you on that, clever bit. I'm sold !! ;D
-
Haha! The tank bolts onto the frames, then the frame bolts into the t locking plates. All very clever!
If i didnt have a grippa system, i would have a custom tank and............. thats what my next van will have. Custom tank made to the shape of the floor :)
-
What sort of price is it roughly for a custom made tank lets say for a vivaro
-
There was on facebook. £480 600L tank and framless design. This chap worked for I ioncs making their tanks ;)
-
Cleaning warehouse after sales r useless in my opinion . Had all sorts of problems with my system and the split relay has never worked . Lol when I bought a new ro membrane it turned out the first one had been fitted wrong . Pump box cuts out under 12volts and u can't over ride it so always charging batteries. Personally I wouldn't buy from them again.
-
i bought a 500L upright tank and frame for £400 from them and then got my local garage to fix it in through the van floor with spreader plates for £100.
so £500 for a brand new tank and frame fitted.bargain! :)
im very happy with it.
you dont have to spend a fortune. ;)
-
I have a 650 tank and stainless steel frame with a few extra brackets welded on for an extra pump and an extra RO to be mounted ,..... I might sell if someone offers me over £400 for it, I bought it new from Varitech who supply to cleaning warehouse. (Wayne 07511 700754 leave a text message if interested)

Thanks for the mention! The tank and frame as a package is fully crash tested and gives you peace of mind from a safety point of view as well as a vehicle stability point of view. No more 'traffic light' sea sickness!
I don't have one made by stephen.

maybe they've upped there game. The 2 kiddies on the sales counter now r really nice lads I will say. But when I got my system which cost me £2500 water was leaking everywhere. Had to get a plumber to sort it for me. The elbows on the DI & softening vessels only had 2 wraps of ptfe round them!!! The wiring for the pump looked dodgy aswell. Spade connectors & wire exposed in some parts. Don't get me wrong... It's a good system I've got. Teething problems & there after sale attitude left a sour taste so I'd rather spend my money elsewhere...

I bought my 1st system 5 years ago and the 2nd last year...Both were spot on
You must of been unlucky!

Have had many problems with this company most of their products are knock offs of other companies
