Title: Bad day at the office!
Post by: Klean07 on February 03, 2015, 11:10:29 am
Put heater in van just like I did yesterday then took dog for walk. Came back took heater out after checking that everything worked then went to start my van to go to work but after a few attempts the battery died! No problem I thought I'll just pull my new dispatch on my drive to get a jump start! Opened bonnet but couldn't find battery! Why are things not simple anymore. Anyway looked in book which told me it was located in drivers footwell which was no good because my jump leads don't stretch!! It's now charging up via a battery charger!
 ???

you should have a jump start point under the bonnet.

on my vito you have to open the fuse box and there is a place for the + jumper lead and a big bolt for the - to attach.

i only found this out after having a flat battery, and couldn't get the jump pack on the terminals under the seat.

Yes transits jump point is under bonnet, yet batteries under drivers seat
