Title: Table salt
Post by: heritagecleaning on February 02, 2015, 09:17:47 am
Customer has just called saying they have had blood on their carpet which they put table salt all over. Apparently it has "drawn out the blood" but there are white salt stains everywhere.

I'm thinking a good vac and plain water rinse for starters, but does anyone have any specific advice for this situation?

Cheers  ;D

body temperature is the best termperature to get blood flowing around 34 degrees. You will find it a lot easier to disolve at that temp than colder. The salt will also thin the blood so you should not need any other treatments on it.
