Title: BATTERY CHARGER QUESTION?

On my charger it has slow or fast charge, i was told leaving it on fast charge will cook the battery, is that true?

I use to fast charge mine on weekdays, then do a slow charge all weekend. Battery lasted 3 an a half years doing it that way.
Then I fitted a split relay and havnt even looked at my battery since, that was 1 year ago.

i got a 110 leisure,  charge up once a week, in van with charger.
