Title: Has anyone used mail chimp to send emails
Post by: Scott Taylor on January 27, 2015, 03:44:36 pm
Hi, Apologies if this is in the wrong section. I have a large list of contact names and email address's for potential new clients and I was thinking of sending them manually ie via email. I can do that but that is time consuming and someone has mentioned mail chimp to me. Has anyone used it before and if so was it easy to do and effective or do you think the old fashioned way of sending email manually will be better? Your thoughts appreciated.

I tried to use mailchimp but it would'nt allow me to export all my contacts into the software, it said something about not allowing spam emails to be sent, I think it thought I had used a software programme to harvest email address from the web and they were not genuine customers.

In the end I did'nt bother

I use Mail chimp. It's great, really easy to use and give you great stats on whether someone open the email, clicked on any links etc.
