Anybody use these? I know you're restricted with brush heads but ignoring that and the fact that we are all "Pro" gardiner... Is this any good. Looking at the 35ft one..
-
I tried Facelift Gardiners and Ionics.
Ionics was by far the worst of the bunch.
-
Even the new ones?
-
Probably not. That was over a year ago but facelift and Gardiners were streets ahead then.
-
I have 8 gardiners poles all sly and the superlative. My 25ft sly which is 6 years old is at deaths door so looking at extreme but not sure I can justify it for some other idiot to ruin it...
-
The Glyder is dire, bud.
The Swift+ is a very good pole if you want an Ionics pole.
Glyder is not quite as crap as a grafter but not good.
-
I had one , crap and no cheaper than gardiners .
-
Yes i can confirm that robert had 1 as i bought the heap of poo off him.
Dont waste your money on a glyder.
-
My description of it was honest though mick :-* :-*
It's amazing how crap ionic poles are considering they are such a big thing in the window cleaning world ...... All that development ppb etc and they can't even knock up a decent pole !
-
Aggreed, no i was happy with it and earnt its money for me but was far too heavy for regular use of it so i resold it and made a bit of profit on top too so not all bad.
-
Ionics do make good poles, swift + i have a 45 swift + light very little flex, also l have Gardiner poles and brodex so have poles to compare. A lot of window cleaners on this site only use Gardiner , how can you rate other makes if you don't try there latest products, they have all moved on so much ln the last 3/5 years. Answer to your question at 35 feet prob go for Gardiner
-
gardiners extreme 68ft 3895 grams £1150
ionics swift+ 65 (actual length 60ft as they use reach length rather than actual length) 6720 grams ......and its 8 ft shorter!
ok ionics weight include brush and gooseneck so if you add that to the extreme your looking no more than extra 500 grams.....still considerably lighter than the ionics and ionics clamps are utter cack .
-
Are you comparing a pole that comes az one unit (swift+) to pole that you have to add section and take away as your work goes higher or lower, i know which one i would rather use, so i now have the swift 65+
-
the extreme will go to 52 ft fully telescopic , extreme 47 with one extension 2927 grams closed length 6ft5 inches
swift 55 which is a few inches shorter is 5560 grams .....much heavier . closed length 7ft7 inches .
no contest in my opinion .

Each to their own
