I been thinking about it for a time now tim ,some one was saying there good for pile lifting, agitation , encap, getting crap out of carpets
question is, would they be that much better than what we are doing at the min

muzzy, had few occasions to try tm40 and victor rotary on the same carpets.
there was no time when rotary was better and faster, always tm40 got me better and much faster agitation done with no effort, rotary is giving you more strain on your arms when tm4 moves so smooth. Plus noth8ng better to remove hairs from carpet.

Just got a tm4 in december, little difference between the two i believe pro 35 is more water resistant and comes with renovator trays, works out same cost as a tm+trays.
Great for bringing up the pile, its agitates pre sprays much quicker and more thorough then a duo, and great on looped pile.
Even with soft brushes it can pull up alot of fluff from some carpets but makes them look and feel great.
A worthy upgrade to consider imo, black brushes essential also

do you use yours every day on most carpets radek

yes, except stairs
or if i do only stairs and landing then only orec, unless a lot fluff and hairs is a problem then landing i do with tm40
everything with black brushes except wool, unless is very dirty then I do not mind the wool fluff and use the black ones

Black brushes are the soft brushes, the white ones afe much to stiff for some carpets, also tend to bounce over some looped pile i found. Im pretty new to using the machine tho but so far im pleased

do you get the black brushes with them as standard lewis
-
No mine came with white which i use on pp and most synthetics and the black for anything else. Tbey are about 110+vat a pair i think. I also use a 15rotary on commercials but the tm4 is great for daily work and domestics and certain commercials
-
yep, sorry, white are hard and black are soft
you can order your machine with any set of brushes you like
you can not leave tm40 upright for longer, standing on the brushes, upright only on the trolley, thats why your machine is bouncing
