Post by: WGB on January 20, 2015, 01:03:02 pm
Anybody got any good price rise leaflets to notify customers of coming price rise? Seen a few good ones on here before but was a while ago. If anyone could email me theirs would be great. wayne.bussell@yahoo.com

IMO lose the 'if you wish to cancel' bit. Why put the thought into there head??

Agreed....lose the cancel instructions and also change the tone....far too apologetic in my view.

I don't have one otherwise I would. I was just agreeing that I think it shouldn't mention about them wishing to cancel or using the word 'unfortunately' - they're negatives.

I think its a tricky one to get right actually, and perhaps it works fine - after all its only one customer at a time who reads it - whereas we're thinking 'oh no its going to hundreds of customers'.

In the main I think its very well worded and displayed but if I were to copy it I would change it slightly as mentioned above, thats not really picking anyone apart, just a point of view.

I think its a well worded leaflet, it gives the customer the impression that your putting the prices up reluctantly
and that your not some greedy sod who's all about the money.

We've gone through all this before. Some like some don't. I do.

I'm not actually asking for opinions. I'm putting it up for someone else.

Exactly. Says more about them than anything else in the thread.
