Noooo don't put it In your tank!
I use a garden sprayer from b&q, mix 1 part virosol with 5 parts water. Spray only the frame and plastics on the roof, leave for a couple of minutes then scrub and watch the dirt melt away.
You don't need to spray on the glass of the roof, once on the frames and in your brush head there's more then enough spread around to clean the glass. If the panels are plastic you can spray them though.
If.you do spray directly onto the glass then don't let it dry. In the summer months it's better to wet the roof first.

Hi pal I think people put the virosol in a separate pump sprayer either hand held or backpack. People mixes vary but I think 10 parts water to one part virosol I know some people will use it at 80/20. I find it does need working in. I only know it needs working in as I was playing with it yesterday on my own guttering. I spayed it on with a pump sprayer left it 5 minutes then worked it in left it another couple of minutes then turned water on and started rinsing.

Feel free to send me an email at sortedrst@hotmail . Com

I have a word document I made for a couple of friends on conny cleaning.

Some basic stuff. Some advanced stuff.

This year I aim to clean over a 100. I have just under 50 booked for the year now ;D

That pic below is virosol in use on plastic sky lights, similar to doing conny roofs but on a big scale

We use g101 @ 20% mix I prefer this to virosol
Depending on the job it's either sprayed on using a hand sprayer or as below via a backpack

Iv used both virosol and ubik at 1 part to 5 parts water without any problems. In fact I think it's the perfect ratio, spray on and a minute later the dirt is practically melting off, little scrubbing needed.
I am more careful in summer as I said, as long you don't let it dry you could probably use as strong a solution as you want.

Darren when you use 101 and you spray it on do you let the mix soak in for a bit or do you start scrubbing straight away then turn the water on after a bit of a scrub lol. Also you you pre wet the conservatory before you put your mix on.

I have tried all of the above methods pre wetting etc..

But now if it's green then I apply using backpack with 2 passes of the brush this tends to remove 70 to 80 % of algae instantly by the time you have treated an area your ready to finish scrub ( if you call it that ) and rinse, just the nooks and crannies require any real attention the solution does not dry out either, for lightly soiled stuff we just spray on and do a couple of passes with low flow rate ( Aqua tap just tweaked on ) to spread it around then clean and rinse.

Pre wetting is good I found it speeded up the cleaning process particularly in summer so worth doing on really minting jobs if your not using a backpack

Just dip your brush in a bucket with your solution in
