Seem to be having one prob after the next with this corwoods heater , there is a ticking noise like it's trying to ignite and the flame never comes on ? Fiddled about with settings to no avail etc .. Although it's nice to work with I am fed up with all the faf and having to keep buying gas :.:: anyone fancy buying the heater of me ?
-
I'm the opposite. I've not fired up my heater this year much yet, but I found today with cold water and all these storms, that I was having to scrub a lot to get filthy windows sparkling again.
As of Monday I'm using my corwoods heater until the weather heats up a bit.

+1 this has got my little brain ticking over , Correct me if i am wrong but you are one of the main vision guys , Yet over the past week or so your posts seem contridictory to all the claims vision helps overcome .

He has a point Jonny. It would be interesting to hear why Vision doesn't appear to be living up to its reputation.

How old is james and how much would you want

I'm part of Vision and it's certainly doing fine for me . Also a lot of happy customers who have bought it.
I'm sure Jonny was just generalising .
We will never satisfy everyone , and we never set that as a target .
The persons who slate Vision and post a lot that haven't even used it are obviously fine in doing that . But strange .

When I say scrub a lot I mean a lot more than the 1 scrub that I normally give windows. With just cold pure water and vision on really storm battered windows near trees etc I've been having to spend more than the usual attention I normally give. With hot water I hope I can revert back to my normal working speed.
Vision enhances WFP, and provides a better shine, and with added cleaning power. I never claim it is a miracle cure that allows anyone to achieve perfect results 100% of the time.
I'm always going to be up front and honest, and will never claim anything that's untrue. I'm being honest when I say today's work was a bit trickier than normal.
;)

Thanks for that , I am happy using vision

Oops a wee slip up there Jonny got to keep your eye on the ball mate.
Glad to hear your happy Mike keep up the good work. ;)

another post thats turned on vision lol
thought it was about a corwood heater ::)roll

James have you double checked the batteries?
If it's ticking over and not lighting that's either batteries or low gas level. If it works and you want £120 for it I'm pretty sure I know someone who will offer you that. Only if it's working of course. :)

Zzzzzzzzz

Not sure about your heater but I know that problem can be caused by blocked air vents have you checked these.
A blocked flue can also cause it.
-
Again not sure about your heater but some of these gas heaters have a gas cut off that stops the gas should the
flame go out.
The give problems if they are positioned or have moved too far out from the flame, something to check also.

No such luck for me.
First jobs were cold. It read -6 outside. Cold water froze straight away untill I fired up the boiler.
-
I have decided to stick with the heater now as it was the battery's that was the problem ... It worked all day fine today .. Think I will use hot when really cold and for initial cleans ..... Will use cold rest of the time I think. ......

That's the same as me.
The heaters are a great tool to have. We don't need them constantly though.
