Title: 'Masking' numbers

Hi guys.

I am looking at getting a 'masking' number for my business. I am not even sure of its actual name. What I am after is a landline number (with area code) that goes straight to my mobile, without actually having a land phone line.

Does anybody use one? I don't even know where to start looking for one.

Ive looked at that before. It isn't quite what I am after. That is an app. Like a mobile sim. For example, any voicemail it receives are recorded by them and emailed to you. I want a re direct number.

I'll try googling that.

Does anybody else use a re direct? Any recomendations

That's a good idea AJ but not quite it.

If someone rang my 'landline' the call goes straight to my mobile and then if necessary leaves a voicemail on my mobile line

It's a voip service which you have full & instant control of all features, so you would be able to activate & deactivate call divert at any time.

Tamar communications do a landline that goes straight to your mobile for £5 per month  :)

TTNC.  You get a local landline number that you redirect.  If you want, you can have a V/M on there that kicks in if you don't answer within a given period and have the V/M emailed to you.  You can also have it only redirect at certain times or to different numbers or voicemails at different times.

You obviously pay for the redirect (can't remember the rate).  You can also get a memorable number if you want one.  We have 023 8181 8181.

We use sipgate.co.uk

We have a local area code number which is on divert to my mobile. Its internet based.

I have a recurring payment of £10 setup, hardly costs anything.
