Title: Red Weather Warning
Post by: Johnny B on January 14, 2015, 09:08:42 pm: We have a red alert weather warning here (south western corner of Ireland). Winds are expected to reach up to 150 kph, and there are already reports of trees being blown down and roads being blocked. All schools in the area are closed as well, and everyone is being advised not to go out unless they have to.

It's been chucking it down all day as it is, so it's another day off for me tomorrow!

What's it like where you are?

No days off tho full steam ahead in the morn.

start calming down the next couple of days.

The wind has subsided somewhat this morning here (Co. Kerry), although the gusts are still too strong for me to be comfortable going out in. It's raining again now as well, but as I had already resigned myself to being off today, I'm not too bothered.

At least you don't get the white stuff much over there. Last time I was in South West Ireland they had Palm trees growing!!!
You don't get those in Yorkshire ;D ;D
