damn jobs worth's . funny how some of them see you as doing a job and let it go and some follow the letter of the law. gives me a headache at times. anyone else have trouble with them?

Here in lincolnshire I was told if I was parked on double yellows and had hose going to the van I was loading (filling up) or unloading (cleaning) and I would be left alone, and their pretty keen around here but have left me alone.

in the town centre , doing shops . the traffic warden said for him to leave me alone i need a special dispensation from the council . yet vans/lorries are always unloading in the same area , double standards , I've been doing these shops for over 3 years , not had a problem before . new honcho in town .you no the type thinks he's god , no sense of humour at all

Yes mate, I hate them, had me twice in Liverpool city centre last week, was well pi$$ed off.
I think they targeting us coz they had there budgets cut.

Nottingham has a permit system,£100 per van per year well worth it, helps out when shopping as well.

Just get in touch with the council and ask for a dispensation/parking allowance for your business

i park in residential areas near town, permit parking.
i just phone up specific dept, give my details and keeps wardens from ticketing me.
