forecast here for tomorrow is dryish but windy.my extreme is a bit of a nightmare when its windy so im thinking of using my SLX 22 and using a standard SL brush.
anyone else do this when working in windy conditions?
i have some commercial and domestic jobs out in the sticks surrounded by farmers fields scheduled in for tomorrow.
obviously if its really really windy ill sack the day off! ::)roll ;D

NO-- why !
I only use an extreme

Yep can use a certain tool for a certain job or condition

Is an extreme really that much lighter to use?
slx 25 is 1040g
ext 25 is 1140g
100g doesn't feel like much at all. Would love a lighter pole but paying double for 100g :o

Think if a pole was struggling in the wind , I wouldn't work if the Wind was that strong.

Slx 1340g plus brush
New style extreme1140g
According to website,
The older style extremes without metal clamps much, much lighter
It all makes a difference if you suffer with neck or repetive style ailments or just want to make life easier, and keep working
Worth the cost I imagine that's a personal choice

ALL WEIGHTS ARE LISTED WITHOUT BRUSH ! only 100g in them. Thats a few packets of crisps

;D yeah, I've got both 25s and there is a very noticeable difference betwixt 't two

the extreme pole is very noticably lighter than an slx even though its only 200g lighter.
the winds died down here so i think ill stick to my extreme plus im gonna need the extra 3 ft for a few windows here and there.
have a good day chaps! :)

Daz I know it's hard to do.
But a while back I was doing 3 story work in unworkable winds.
I used a 47ft extreme. And I only extended to the Orange bands. Gave me a nice heavy rigid pole lol
Did a normal day but wasn't worth it. Lost a customer. Windows dried really bad. But it was before my holiday lol.
