Title: Spotting
Post by: S.W. Window Cleaning on January 12, 2015, 01:59:44 pm
Hi,
Usual subject but I haven`t experienced it before. Over the holidays I read on the forum about increasing flow rates so I thought I would try it. I have a sureflow pump which I ran at 39. I screwed it up to 49 to try it. It did speed me up but I was using more water. Today I cleaned a house and a while later customer is on complaing about spots and streaking. I have never had this before. I tested the water and its zero. Could it be the pump is too high?

Thanks,
 Steve

What's the weather like in your area, it been stormy for the last 3 or 4 days in my area and the windows
aren't staying clean.
My own property lasted one day and you wouldn't believe how bad they are, I would make sure this isn't your problem
before investigating any further.

Where you probably increased the flow the water probably hit the vent with some dirt or the brick, even may of blasted some dirt from a crease where your low flow don't budge that's probably why uay have had some spotting.

Is the wind blowing the rinsing? Are you using pencil jets.
