Title: Anyone use a dashcam??

A couple of my customers have been victims of the whiplash scams.

One of them advised fitting a dashcam but looking at them it is hard to decide where to start.

Does anyone use one or can recommend a brand.

I have them fitted to my vehicles.

I have used the Blackvue HD Twin Camera Models - http://www.incarcamerasystems.co.uk/Blackvue_DR650GW.php

Excellent product and has proved useful already.

Had one of these for over a year. Great piece of kit. It's in German Ebay, but you can get the same model in UK. About 25 quid for HD.

I like this one Alex, just checked it on you tub, i wonder if i can use it for outside of my house.  :)

My dad uses one. I believe it's the £100 go pro. Does the job very well.

gopros are action cameras and imo should be used as such
dash cams have specific features that make them more suitable for the purpose. Check this guys site out before buying anything.
