Hi guys whats the highest TDS  reading you can work with  before you need to change filters etc  ;D ;D

I will change mine as soon as I notice it had moved off 000, no point dragging the dregs out of it IMO

I live in a soft water area and have worked with a Tds of 45ppm  :o :o

I have set a limit of 15 before changing resin.

Currently RO water is 008 so don't use resin.

In low bright sunlight or very hot days you are more likely to see/ get spotting.

After some trials I found spotting started to appear at around 28 ppm, but I would say the higher the number you have the narrower the margin of error ( more chance of getting a bad finish )

thanks mate i am purifying about 600 daily and im always confused about this matter as dont want to  lose customers through spotting etc but gets expensive to keep changing all the time my reading atm is 002 after couple days ago changing everything resin and filters but the level is 260 roughly where i live so prob have to change more frequent than alot  of peeps  ;D ;D

Our water ranges from around the 300 mark upto 380  :(

Regular prefilter changes have helped the membrane no end in maintaining a low ppm number
