Title: Gaz's Brushes
Post by: Count Phil on April 19, 2006, 05:08:13 pm
I just took delivery of gaz's brushes, the blue one with the swivel and the red one. I've only just done my windows and i'm well impressed. I just took the square vikan off ( which is a good brush) and it is never going back on. There was a post on here last week about rinsing with the brush on the window and I didn;t think it would work but I've just done mine and rinsed ON and they came up perfect! Not only that but it's so light even though it's the swivel version. It might be a bit wimpy for tough bird poo though... I just thought i had to tell everyone how good it is (though I'm probably the last to know), it craps all over the ionics brush too!!

Thanks for the positive feedback, the swivel brush is mainly designed for getting at awkward to reach windows ie over consevatorys, garage roofs etc,
if im doing a few houses with conservatorys then i`ll keep it on to do all the windows and can even do windows from next door because of the ease of use of the brush,Gaz

Gaz,

Could you either do a post of pictures of all the brushes you do, and prices, or email me with details.

Thanks

Like the others, just got my new swivel brush.

Many thanks gaz.

Can I ask you if you use the swivel one every day in your work, as your main brush or is it a great brush for only certain jobs.

Haven’t used it yet, but CAN I expect to be using it on all of my Domestic houses?

I don’t want to be struggling all day to make it work, if it’s not really for every window.

Can you tell me; is it Good News or Bad?

Thanks

What i would reccomend you do is use it all day to see how you go,i use mine all day when i am going to be doing houses with conservatorys and also use it for normal jobs and i find it works fine, but if i don`t need it i will use a normal fixed brush but thats just my choice as i have so many different types of jobs i used about 5 different brushes,Gaz  ;D

Thanks Gaz.

Another thing I wanted to ask, is there any difference in the brushes?

The first ones you sent had Blue bristles and the New ones have Green.

Just wondered?

Although the actual bristles are the same,i have found that the green seem to have a few more bristles, why? i don`t know,Gaz  ;)

Hi gaz thanks for the brush you sent to me (red 1) I will just say it doesnt fit on the gooseneck from gardiner's without a bit of DIY, but after the DIY its a great brush. :)

Could you send me a price list please:- nick@shinewindows.co.uk

Hi Nick,if you are using the alloy gooseneck, you will need to adapt it,but with the black plastic adjustable necks all the brushes fit,Gaz
