Who prints their bank details on the card they pop through custies door after cleaning their windows?
-
I do, works a treat. Been doing it years and never a problem.
-
Thanks mate, just redesigning my cards and just wanted to ask if its ok. A lot of my customers already do pay by BACS and it works a treat
-
No different to the details found on a cheque, unless you include your PIN details on the card.
-
Yes works no problem. I also have the details on my website.
Cheers,
Steve

After I clean, I text then pop a payment slip in letter box. Sort code. Acc no etc. Works ace

Thanks everyone. :)

Find out some banks I know Halifax do, allow payment using your mobile number but you need to register. It makes things a lot easier.
-
Slight highjack here, previously told by bank "yes it's safe if others know your acc number and sort code". But today chap from bank says no it might not be safe to put on your web site maybe stick to your note through the door to customers. ???

I have always had account number and sort code on my bills without any worries.
But just to be sure, I opened a second current account for this purpose.
It is solely for internet payments ( card is never carried on me or used for anything ) and the balance is transferred to my main current account by internet banking every couple of days if there are any payments in it.
