ive just had my new exceed pole delivered 2day.awesome pole,very rigid.the pole and clamps are quality.you get everything with this pole,aquadapter.flipfast,loads of pole hose,also a decent tube 4 storage.very happy indeed

Chanter, yes I've used it for two days and it's good. Don't notice the weight of the A/D there's very little flex in it and I have a nice dry van.

There are a couple of issues, the clamp levers spin. I will put some loctite on them. The removable end cap has gone awol. This is my fault, it has to be removable to allow extra sections to be fitted I would imagine. The plastic joiner that connects the pole hose to the reel hose should be brass and finally the A/D operation is some times 'jerky'.

I have contacted Steven but he's yet to reply, he's customer service is never going to be that of Gardiners but I m thinking it should be better than not replying.

Would I recommend you getting one, yes if you like the concept of the tubeless pole.

Hi Tony,

I will send you a new cap, a little silicone sealant is best to bond the cap on as sealant can be removed from the pole surface if you need to change the cap.

and will upgrade to metal joiners right away.

Hi mate, I have sourced some brass joints and fitted an slx spare end cap so it is protected. I messaged you about these things but also the fact A/D were not available on your new site.
Trust it's all going well.

I rarely post on forums, however this is an exception. I've always tried to keep up with new and interesting innovation techniques in order to make the job more efficient.
The tubeless pole is excellent, that's it. I'm also ( with the help of Steve Jones ) experimenting with a new type of hose and reel configuration to compliment the pole. I will trial it for a while, but at the moment it is proving to be as good as I had hoped for.

Tell you what. I am sick and tired of the brush hose. Love Gardiner pole and service but spend more time messing with hoses. Microbore is no where near as bad

+1 i hate my hose on my 47 extreme its like a disabeidant child
