I'm after a new ro unit say 300 gpd or above. I dont want to pay loads but know you get what you pay for so have to be balanced. What is the best enonomical system? i.e as little waste as possible.
Any links would be great
Thanks in advance

300gpd or above is quite broad mate...
Whats your tap tds
Are you on a water metre
Whats your water pressure
How much water do you actually need to produce a day (on average)
I'd of thought most will say get a 40/40 as then you'll never need to upgrade, but i get the feeling you're on a budget?

And if your water pressure is less than 60 psi, i'd recommend you fit one of these (http://www.purefreedom.co.uk/24v-aquatec-reverse-osmosis-booster-pump-power-supply-p-274.html?page=2) before the membranes on your r.o

basic hf4 40/40 from gaps water about 600 quid and a Clarke water pump from machine mart about 300 quid. it produces about 250 litres an hour with a 60 per cent rejection rate
