I use Coxreels 1125-4-200

My supplier has stopped trading, do any of you use the same? Where do you get them?

I was getting them cheaper than £325. Low prices is probably one of the reasons my supplier isn't trading any more.

I agree though that a £200 mark up is pretty steep. More than that even, there is a supplier near me charging £700 for these. I just laughed.

I've tried those. Not sturdy enough for me I'm afraid.

I have decided on the Coxreels. I had a decent, reasonably priced (I thought) supplier, just need to find another one..

I will have one of these for sale within a month.

Same model (6 months old, near mint)

Then another within a couple of months.

If you are interested in one then let me know.

I thought http://www.redashe.co.uk was the main supplier in the UK?

I get mine via Grippatank.co.uk :)

Redashe are £100 more than I was paying. Grippa tank looks nearer. Cheers.

I have only seen em for around the £290 - £350 mark plus vat. So sounds like you have/had a good deal.

Hannay reels are good. Look very similar to Cox reel. Gardiners have just started selling them. Had mine nearly 9 years and still going strong.

Think you can get them from Bridge Enginering.

Yeah. That's where I get my reel gear.
Alan World is spot on.
Always delivers and very helpful.

Soups-the Hannah looks very similar-I wonder if some parts may be interchangeable?

Size of market.
The size of the market has nothing to do with it many countries with very small market share are cheaper. As we defend these rip offs prices will prevail. Its time to expose them and don`t buy from them.
