Title: planning route
Post by: duncan h on December 28, 2014, 09:32:50 pm
My rounds starting to get bigger and more complex. I am not 100% on the area and wondered if there was a program to plan shortest route. Delivery drivers must use one

Quite hard when its loads of streets linked together. Its finding the shortest route thats hard. I can go onto the same street a few times a day and no way round it

so whats the grumble then , just google earth and zoom in as close as you can to the streets you work/recognise , press the print button and keep a hard copy , reprint a dozen more , then red dot approx locations of jobs update onto new sheets as needed , its not geography o level is it ?

Duncan, i have been looking for exactly the same thing for the same reason as you. Not as simple as looking on google maps as im sure you've realised...and i haven't found anything good enough online. Im thinking maybe buying a multi point destination sat nav.
