Whats wrong with that? A man up a ladder? Plus he's being footed...

Remember there's no law to how high you can go on a ladder, he's got a work mate with him, real men climb ladders  ;D

 apart from the fact the right side of the ladder doesnt look like its resting on the chimney, it doesn't look that bad to me...

Although, not a fan of triple ladders, prefer two sections

I've been up higher than that unfooted many a time, but not anymore  ;D

Youre right it wasnt. Which actually made it lethal. Especially looking at the ladder close up, it didnt look good.

Im sure you have Jake Boy. Most on here have as well.

That doesnt actually mean its fine. Especially at that height it means take more care. Particularly as all they're doing is upgrading a satellite dish. Doesnt seem worth the risk to me, just so someone can watch a few extra TV channels.

He would be far better off with a point ladder for that - with the point on the external angle of the chimney.

I have a long triple set and fully extended it is sphincter testing to say the least. Always happy to get feet back on the ground.

Actually someone has already been higher than that to fit the satellite dish and TV aerial. Those things aren't lite.
