When do you put your prices up.
I am not looking forward to it. I started using prices on my leaflets last year so all ones since then are at a price I want. But I have about 150 customers underpriced some only a £1 but quite a few about £3 -£4 quid too low. Any tips and am I likely to loose a lot.

Notify them in March for new prices in April, for those staying the same let them know you have done a yearly price review but will remain the same for another 12 months.
This makes customers aware that prices are looked at yearly, we normally increase about a third very year, might lose 2 per hundred
It's your call, if a person is underpriced and you hate doing it OR you make more by getting better priced work then if they leave so be it.
If you want to keep working cheap, then, just keep cleaning them.

No I don't want to keep doing under priced as I run a buisiness not a charity. Cheers for you help

Agree with Darran, look at it this way even if you do lose a few with the higher prices you will still
be no worse off, just doing less work for the same money.

I don't second guess customers ... just put them up and see what happens ... prob what will happen is you may loose maybe 1 or 2 out of a hundred IF ANY .. this is my experience and others from the forum.
Most customers wont be bothered and those that are wont want hassle of firing you and finding another windie ... assuming you supply a good service of course ... if your rubbish (and not saying you are ;D) then this will be the push to fire you and find someone else ;) ...
