Anyone using the new Shurflo induction motor pump yet , guessing it won't be many months until I am due a new one, current one been in the machine for a long while, by my standards anyway.
So may get one after xmas, depending on what people experiences with them have been .

Have not heard anything about them!!!!
-
No neither have I and they have been out for a while, have to be a good buy, as the motors have no brushes to wear, so guessing just change over the ends and not have to constantly replace the entire unit.

go to prochem. buying off ebay is pot luck. I bought a 150 psi but returned it when it testred 100 psi.
Theirs a lot of fakes out there

The important thing with induction motors is that they must not be started with pressure in the system, they will burn out as they cannot turn over against a load.
Otherwise good.

I recently replaced my back up machine pump with this exact 150psi one from the company in Harlow, the pump seems fine, plenty of pressure and noticeable difference from the 135 psi one in the machine before, no issues with it as of yet.
The company were also very good to deal with, kept me informed with delivery and it was fast, sent a catalogue with the pump and their prices on other stuff seem fair too..

I recently bought the steempro sx2100 and the shurflo 150psi now comes as standard, very impressed with it so far :)

They often dont make the full 150psi.
They are not 150psi heads fitted to them they are the same as th eolder 100/120psi but they do push out quite a bit more flow than the older brush motors.
