Title: water stop for filters

hi all can i ask how you all make sure the water to your tank cuts off before it overflows? btw i am using a booster pump so would need a solenoid too presumably, unless someone knows diffferent.

You could use one of these

but i prefer to have an overflow pipe at the top of the tank, especially with a booster. Would think that shutting the outlet could damage the membrane.

thanks for the reply but that loks like a float valve which obviously will stop the water but not the pump
