Someones just signed up and i havent a clue who they are! Ive got an email but i really think that sending them an email to "confirm their address" doesnt sounds very professional at all! Theyve already put their bank details in, ive just rang Gocardless and they have said they cant give me address!
What do you guys do?
-
I am totally unprofessional and request their address via email .
-
I wasnt having a dig...i just dont think it sounds great after theyve already put bank details into a site theyve probably never heard of.

Data protection apparently.
I have a bit that they need to fill in on the website before they get to the GC page. Gives you that extra bit of info you need.

How do you do that mate? Can you show me please?

I was a light hearted dig , its the only way to find out and the easiest way , I have new custys full details but some longterm custys i never asked full name etc and made a note of them .
name etc is one of the first things i ask after cleaning schedule its the only way to keep track .

How does it work without sounding daft , is the reference then put onto your Gocardless account customer list
-
No. I get an email that looks as if it has come from the email address filled in the first box. Whatever is filled in in the second box is the title of the email.
Then I match the email address to the ref on GC and I'm good to go.

Fill it in and I'll send what I get back so you can see.

Excellent...how ;D

Cool thanks very much for that will have to speak to Nat to make that change on my website .
