These have been going around for a long time just another angle from the usual scammers, they send hundreds of thousands out and hope just a few respond, its very clever actually , who would open an emails addressed to no one from a company you have not dealt with or heard off ?
Usually its people who are both greedy and gullible, that's how they snare them.

I had exactly the same one yesterday from this alleged company. Deleted straight away.

Just posted about this on the scam alert thread. This is a new sophisticated macro which is going undetected by anti virus software. If you have clicked on the excel software and have macros enabled do not use that computer to access your bank, facebook, ebay etc as they will get you passwords and clean you out.

Change you passwords regularly...I have several members of my family have been scammed...the latest was someone getting hold of mobile phone details and changing the account....it only came to light when a text was sent to him asking the owner to confirm a password change
He hadn't changed it.....he has been in touch with authorities and only just missed out on losing 5k....he was lucky
