Weatherbomb is just a stupid spin word dreamed up by some twit at the met office.
It's just weather.

Saltburn.
Weather predicted = cloudly - rain between 10 and 12 - then cloud with sunny spells. Rain from 2pm. Wind throught out the day between 28 to 30 kms.
Actual = not a cloud in the sky from 8 this morning. Wind 9 - 11 kms.
Last time we were told we would be experiencing gale force winds, we battoned down the hatches and never went out. The gale force winds never arrived.
Since this post started I have kept an eye on the BBC weather forecast site and the forecast for today has already changed 3 times.

Yep a lovely day here too.
Best weather for quite a while. 8)
The media/forecasters were predicting a weather bomb with severe weather to hit the North and West.

A weather bomb is something that exists solely in the minds of the Daily Mail Editorial Staff and Journalists - the rest of us call it 'Winter'
