Title: porcelain problem
Post by: cleantech on December 08, 2014, 10:10:49 pm
Hi guys looked at this porcelain floor today. The problems appeared soon after installation. What do you guys think. Efflorescence or grout haze. It dissappeared when wet. Came back minutes later

I would like to see some better photos but in the meantime it looks like a combination of Grout haze and transit wax is the issue.  If you post a few more photos I should be able to offer you a solution.

sorry about the pictures kevin. the combination of 2 thing makes sense as there was still soiling present after acid cleaning. i then used bostik tile renew. it was still not 100% in places but stone soap darkened it uniformly and all was good again. thanks for the info. what do you use for transit wax removal from porcelain in general

Essentially then you masked the problem as opposed to removing it?  I use Miracle Poultice A&B
