a client of mine (cowboy company) owes me money!
been a pain in the arse since day 1 i should of seen it coming! now they owe me £1,436
whats my options, going up the office to flip tomorrow! hopefully they just give me a cheque!
I've been advised thomas higgins but been on there site and they won't take me on as i only have the 1 debtor!

Thomas higgins doesn't work like that, you open account and you use it as and when ever you want! I have probably only used them about 6-7 times over 10 years.

You need to give them opportunity to pay before taking them to court. Usually a letter stating if it is not paid within 28 days you'll take them to court will suffice. If you don't tell them you will be taking them to court, the court may charge you the court costs irrespective of winning or losing, as they see it as a last resort.
If they don't pay up or ignore your requests after 28 days follow the link above.

Take a step back chanster - tell us the circumstances and what you've done so far ...

They didn't ask anything like this when i opened my account over the phone!

THEY SOLD THE CONTRACT, but not the debt. the company that bought it has contacted me asking all sort of questions.
about price and all sorts of stuff they should of already known!
the company has lost 40% of the jobs since i got the contract.
the manager i got to know when i first got the contract has left and i know he threatened them with all sorts for his wages!
they won't answer the phone and have not replied to my e-mails

How many cleans makes up that £1500? Hope you get your cash mate.

Mix of £48 weekly jobs over 6 months and a dozen 150 - 250 jobs. They made some payments thru there time. Like but on around £700 worth.

Get writing, keep it professional, do not let emotion get the better of you and do not breach you end of any contract whilst you are chasing.
Unless they are folding anytime soon you'll get your money.......

i have used a Nottingham based company called Lrc dept recovery, one hotel owed me five grand, another engineering company owed me three grand, they got both payments back and charged them there fees. Good look
