hi many thanks for readiing,im normally on the window cleaning forum,but need some carpet cleaning help.
my son has a stomach bug and has vomited on the carpet,can anyone advise me on how to remove the smell of vomit.
i have a small extraction machine which i use to clean my carpets,prochem double clean in the tank,will this remove the vomit smell or can you advise what i need .
ps i have some cherry deodouriser but its not really killing the odour.
any help or advice would be appreciated.

you need an enzyme sprayed on the carpet and left to absorb the protein, then rinse out with acid rinse or better still F70

Try detol , the clear one

Diluted bicarb of soda will remove the smell instantly.
No need to buy any enzymes or odor neutralizers as they often wont work anyway.

I use two products, one removes the crud, the other treats the smell with anti bacterial components.
Unfortunately I dare not name them on here.
