Title: rectus 26 fittings on 4040ro
Post by: Bill.upnw on November 26, 2014, 07:04:55 pm
ive got a brodex 650 ro di system

as its getting colder ive been worried about the cold effecting the 4040 ro thats built onto the system.

as i park my van a distance away from my house, putting a heater in overnight wont work.

what ive been thinking of is cutting the pipes and putting rectus fittings on there so i can bring it in the house after ive filled up.

would this work and be ok?

the question is basically would the rectus fitings handle the pressure when i am filling up

the fitting should take massive pressure while in good condition.

I personally think you will be ok,as I have a purfreedom van mounted system with 4040 ro and some of the fittings are plastic hoselock type,I don't get any leaks,I think rectus are better quality fittings
