Title: Wordpress, gocardless & Contact Form 7
Post by: Paul erithwc on November 16, 2014, 04:53:15 pm
If you use Contact Form 7 then you can get the contact form to forward customers to your gocardless signup page after they press send/submit

Just add the following text to the additional settings section

on_sent_ok: "location = 'add gocardless link here';"

I'm not sure why you want them to fill out the contact form first?   They then need to re-enter their name address email etc again on the mandate form... It's a bit confusing for the customer?

Is it so that you know who has signed up?

Here is mine >> www.iconicwindowcleaning.co.uk/directdebit

If a customer registers and I'm not 100% who they are then I email them and ask them to confirm their address.

I still think GoCardless should give you at least their postcode to help identify who has registered.

Yep - you can set a custom URL for the contact form thank you page by following the instructions here: http://contactform7.com/redirecting-to-another-url-after-submissions/

If you have a simple 1 line form (eg. "first line of your address") and when they click submit they're taken to your Gocardless page it should work fine. ;)
