am not fully booked for Christmas yet ,is everyone else ???

For the last 3 - 4 years I didn't get the Xmas rush of previous years... That said, I didn't get the new year drought either...
It seems to have spread itself out fairly even over the last few years...
This year??
there is a bit of a rush for diet hypno cd's, stress hypno cd's and cockatiels :o :o

Been booked up 2 weeks ahead since the beginning of this month, just started booking into the Sundays, just sat In a coffee shop awaiting 8.30 so I can go do a big pressure washing job.
Also adding a small job onto the end of the day, so I would guess the rush is upon me now.

Early to mid December is nearly full the last week up to the big day nobody really wants but it'll fill eventually with last minuters, it doesn't feel as busy on the phone but that could be my imagination you always think its going to be busier.

PMSL Tony ... I'm getting better. Muzzy I'd say get someone to build it for you on wordpress then start learning wordpress yourself. It's a headache but worth it.

Reluctantly gave up a Saturday this morning as I could not fit it in on the day requested, got 5 appointments free until 23rd Dec then that's it. Last two weeks in Jan booked but that's regular and been in the diary since October. Noticed more commercial work this winter too

In general there is definitely more money about ,it seems the purse strings have been loosened a little and people are starting to spend.
In our business's we have seen a steady uplift in sales as the year has gone on and in the lead up to Christmas we will experience our best 4th quarter to date.
Its very encouraging going into 2015.

those of you who are established operators with good client bases, can i ask, is there a xmas rush??? are you actually busy dec/jan???
ive not been going so long so i actually expect to be fairly quiet at this time, am i wrong???? can i look forward to a busy festive season in a few years time.....
im currently booked up for about 8 days, waiting for further calls......................

You should be seeing a upsurge of work from now until Xmas even with no existing customers.

I'm tied into a leaflet delivery campaign I organised a couple of weeks ago with a local paid for newspaper, got 7k leaflets being inserted into the paper next week and the 7k following week, tried today to get the delivery postponed until the first week of January but no joy they are booked into a slot. Can see me running out of spaces

There are spaces that I'm struggling to fill the latter parts of the month nearer Christmas they tend to go closer to the dates, got 5 jobs booked in for January nothing big though.

Busier than I can every remember at the moment. It's crazy, I can't believe how many calls I'm getting.
Like you Mike, I've cancelled 5000 leaflets going out as I only have a few days free now.
Nice holiday in Jan I think.
