Title: Blazer gt upholstery tool
Post by: garybristow on November 13, 2014, 08:57:15 pm
Don't know if it's just me , when I use the prochem upholstery tool it fires out far too much water! I turn the solution pressure to 3.5 and alter the spray on the tool , I can't seem to get a fine spray like you would on a porty
Any ideas?
Gary

Use a porty ;D

The Sapphire tool is superb but if you want to use the prochem tool could you change the jet size? Or fit an inline valve like on the sapphire to further reduce the flow?

I have drilled a hole at each end of the vacuum slot so if the tool seals on the fabric the excess water still gets sucked up.

The Saphire hand tool is superb but the Sheerdry is better

What size jet are you using, Gary?   Think the standard jet of the Prochem one is 8002.  Try changing it to a 01. - also try changing the psi down to 100

Thanks everyone
The jet size might be the answer
