just bought a gardiner 20ltr backpack for getting my chemicals up to gutters and facias also have some viro-sol how much would you put in with a full 20ltrs of water ? Also dwell time?

If the backpack is for using Virosol only, I'd put a ratio of 5:1 in, ie 4 litres of Virosol. Put the water in first to stop it frothing up.

Thanks bungle what about dwell time is it best to leave it for a while before washing off?

I would put 1 litre of virosol in.

Let it soak in, once the muck has softened up brush/rinse it off. I've known whites on a conny turn pink from leaving it on too long.

Try starting with 1 litre of Virosol and see how you get on. I found it wasn't a strong enough mix for my liking.

I wouldn't be putting 4 litres of virosol in a 20 litre back pack that's a waste!!


I just pour a little bit in not even half a litre..
