Hi Guys,
Just bought a used SLX25, it has no stop tape or markings on the base of the sections. Question is, what length can each section be safely extended so as not to damage the pole?
Thanks, Phil ....

Don't go past the red marker. I took the stop tape off my pole as it got on my nerves.

Hey Bungle,
There are no markings at all, red or otherwise!

If I remember correctly the stop tape wants to be 135mm from the base of each section. Two wraps of ordinary electrical tape will do it. ;)

Yep I run old SLX's with no markings and I reckon 150mm/6" is a safe amount. Maybe 5" at a push if the section isn't too worn.

Thanks Granville...
