Title: caravan cleaning
Post by: Patti on April 13, 2006, 06:45:37 pm
How much should we charge for cleaning the carpets and upholstery in a caravan?  We're talking about static caravans (we live near the sea - lots of caravan parks here)

We've got a TM now and trying to do more caravan cleaning.

I love this forum - but are there any other girls out there doing carpet cleaning or helping their husbands?

Hi Patti, I work with my husband and We have been carpet cleaning for about a year now. We also live close to the sea, near Lowestoft on the East coast and have been thinking about caravan cleaning but We only use a portie and are unsure if this would be feasible?

Hi Patti,

I've done a few static caravans as I'm also by the sea and they take about 3 or 4 hours on my own with a porti. I charge £100.

Hi Barbara,

I'm just up the road from you in Hopton, hope things are going well. I only have a porti and it does the job just fine just obviously takes a bit longer than a t/m.

Kind regards,
Jason.

Hi Barbara,

Another girl.  At last!  We've only had a TM since last July.  Before that we cleaned caravans with our faithful Extracta portables.  Did a great job.  Just took a bit longer.

Hi Jason and Mike,

Thanks for the help.  Think I've been under pricing.  Did the last one for £60.  No wonder they were so happy!!!

Thanks to all of you.
