Only last week my 52 plate expert hdi needed new brakes, stupid neglect on my part, went down to the metal so new caliper ( piston was shot ) was needed plus discs and pads.
This week clutch started slipping, not badly yet but decided not to waste time. New clutch and flywheel being done today. Typical, had this van nearly 7 years and had saved up for something newer and was wanting to get shot before the big expenses started to roll in. aint it always the way ! :(
probably the best day this week weather wise too.

the trials and tribulations of life that's all, when you think you have a plan and it starts to go unexpectedly wrong, still I seem to be clued up as to what to write in my xmas cards so can't be all bad.

;)
A ranger was what I was after too, guess I'm going to run the pug into the ground now for the next year to get my monies worth, still it means I can save some more and get something even more decent :)

I have an expert hdi, its got near 240k miles, i have been saying soon as it dies ill get a new van for the last 4 years now, i havnt had it serviced or anything in 4 years apart from a few tyres yet she still passes every mot and keeps on going. What a bullet proof van i think.(you watch my clutch or cylinder head will go tommorow now).

Hi Mick get the cam belt done if you haven't had it done ,its expensive if it snaps

would second that, as well as my recent expenses within the first year of owning it ( bought with 72k on the clock ) the cam belt slipped, still caused a couple of bent valves and £1200 repair bill.
