Title: virosol price
Post by: duncan h on November 08, 2014, 09:46:34 pm
Hi guys. Been using Virosol at an alarming rate (new cleans) I pay about £8.50 from a local stockist. I did see it online 2x and cheaper, but cant find it now. Who do you buy it from..if cheaper. Willing to try alternative but happy with it so far

Is virosol ok to use on glass was thinking of using it on really bad first cleans?

Its fine on glass. I use it on new cleans. Spray all frames and glass gets a good over spray. Never any problems other than takes ages to rinse. As above. I use about 50/50 doesn't last long at that ratio

i used it at a ratio of 50/50 in a little spray bottle when i first tried it, now i use an 8ltr sprayer with a 1/7 ratio and still get the same results. its pretty strong stuff i find.

very expensive at 50/50

What do you guys use to spray virosol on to fascia & soffits at height above first floor windows, I'm just trying to figure
the best way to administer virosol as a pretreatment to badly soiled fsg at height before waterfed poleing it,
 any advice very much appreciated.

 Best regards

Do you have an old knackered pole ?
I adapted one with a single fan jet on the gooseneck without a brush, connected it up to a 5 ltr pump up pressure sprayer with a trigger.

I dilute virosol 1-10 and find strong enough for any kind of algae on conservatory is and PVC. Just leave it to soak longer if heavily soiled.

Costs me about £9 per 5 litre tub off eBay. Good value for me.

Can be a mixture of stuff. This is why we carry around 25 in stock. Everytime we order from cleaning spot. I ordered 2/4 tubs. But we only use ubik 2000 well I have virosol as well. But don't like it.

I just bought ubik2000 to try but I much prefer virosol and am going back to it.

Virosol seems stronger to me.

Yeah. I found I was needing to use more ubik to get the desired effect. And even then it didn't foam up as much which I like.
