I thought I would see what you guys all use and why?
I have been using gardiner sill brush for a few years now, but I get fed up as after a month or so the corners are gone and they seem to loose bristles. So yesterday I went and bought a ionics resi brush and must say they clean so much better. The only down side is that they weigh a fair bit more.

Always a trade off between weight and scrubbing power, I've tried various over the years but the super lite is best overall in cost, weight, durability.
We rotate the heads 180 degrees after 4 months then replace 4 months after that, I think 8 months for a brush head is excellent

There's always a price to be paid when using a lighter brush, but I have found that the new Gardiner
medium mixed black and white Xtreme to be the best brush I have ever used.
I fell behind this year so most of my cleans lately haven't been cleaned in three months or more and this brush
makes light work of them.
Judging by the wear already I should get a year or more out of it, so for me that's value for money.
Edit,
Iv changed my mind as I now clean faster that Iv ever cleaned and with less effort there isn't a price to be paid.

Extreme hybrid medium.
Sill brush stiff.
Superlite flocked.
Superlite stiff.
Thats what we use.
We have started using the brush bumpers. Definitely worth it. Perhaps they should come with them as standard.
They fit extreme and superlite.

Medium mixed extreme for the lightness and scrubbing power when new but the bristles fallout easy and they also lose their scrubbing power pretty quickly...still the best brush I have used though..

Vikkan they last for years

Agreed - Vikan - two and half years on and as good as new.

Whatever floats your boat...

Extreme medium mixed and superlight medium mixed are the ones I keep coming back too.... I view the exreme as I would a disposable razor....doesn't last long but would rather have a quick and really light brush as opposed to a brick that last years ;)
